The department has started functioning from 2008-09. The basic motto to initiate the department was to provide professional and skill based education to students. At present, the department runs the degree course in business administration i.e. B.B.A. ( Bachelor of Business Administration ) with an intake capacity of 80 students a year.

Department has maintained consistency in excellent results. Personal attention is provided towards each and every student .Along with core curriculum part, the department focuses on extracurricular activities also. Department organizes industrial visits, workshops, seminars and guest lectures by industry / subject experts on various topics such as recent trends in management; personality development etc , also provides training for event management, communication skills, marketing and sales management etc, for the overall development of the budding management experts.

In addition to the regular teaching duties, the eminent faculties of the department have published number of books and research papers in renowned journals.
